Seminars
Dynamic Communication™ Seminar is a behaviorally-based program that teaches people DISC language
to gain an understanding of themselves and others. Effective communication stems from the right combination of tone of voice, choice of words,
body language, and pace of speech and actions. These four components of a person’s behavioral style need to be continually adapted
to accommodate other people’s styles.
By incorporating a behavioral assessment, the seminar helps participants understand what DISC is and
how to use it. As a result, employees learn to interact successfully and to appreciate others’ behavioral styles. Using the techniques
learned in this seminar, hospital staff can immediately improve communication throughout the organization, and those improvements are significant
enough to be noticed right away.
At the end of this seminar participants will:
- Understand their own behavioral style
- Recognize, understand and appreciate others’ behavioral traits
- Be able to adapt their behavior to achieve enhanced communication,
understanding and relationships
Your Attitude Is Showing™ Seminar helps employees develop self-knowledge and ability to communicate with
others. Using an attitude assessment, people learn why they and others do what they do, and this knowledge opens up a new level of understanding
and communication. To optimize performance, every hospital administrative team needs to understand the “how” and the “why” of
every manager, and these seminars will help you do just that. Combined with DISC (How), Attitudes (Why), leads to powerful communication, better
understanding and improved decision-making.
At the end of this seminar participants will:
- Be able to communicate with others on a foundation of understanding
- Know which attitudes drive their life, actions and decisions
- Understand the causes of conflict and be able to diffuse misunderstandings
- Recognize and appreciate others’ attitudes
“The greatest problem of communication is the illusion that it has been accomplished.”
— George Bernard Shaw
“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.”
